The next time you get a flat in the desert, you won’t have to hitch a ride on a camel. ARB created the X-Jack for places where standard car jacks fear to tread, like sand, snow, and mud. Instead of trying to stabilize a small metal jack under your very heavy car on unsteady terrain, just attach the X-Jack’s hose to your car’s tailpipe, stick the bag under the side of your vehicle, and let the inflation begin. The balloon-like body provides greater stability for your car and has triangle-shaped feet on its underside to stay put on slippery surfaces. The X-Jack can lift 8,800 pounds 30 inches off of the ground, and comes with a storage bag, a puncture repair kit, a ground mat, an exhaust connection kit, and a pair of gloves. You’ll have to provide the spare tire, but you’ll be forever free of getting overly intimate with a sand dune. $235
